Retinaldehyde is an intermediate metabolite of natural retinoic acid, which has the similar biological activity as retinoic acid, and the skin tolerates it significantly better than retinoic acid.

It is a new type of retinal NanoLiposomal preparation (NanoLiposomal RAL). 

Retinaldehyde (RAL) has the properties of retinic acid in the skin and is better tolerated than retinic acid. It acts directly on protein receptors in cells to stimulate epidermal renewal, increase cuticle thickness, and make the skin firmer and more orderly. 
At the same time, it can accelerate the generation of collagen in dermis, prevent UV damage to collagen, inhibit the increase of MMP caused by UV, and make skin more elastic.
